Bro, the first time I did the Vergil jet grab with Nero, it was the end of my DMD play through, and it was the finishing blow. I didn’t even know it was possible I just tried it for hoots and ha’s. I leapt out of my seat and screamed like a madman with hype.

Is it true that if you hit Vergil enough in the end credits fight he gets annoyed?

An interesting thing that most people don't tend to notice in regards to boss Vergil fights (And only the Vergil fights as Nero and Dante, the 2 part duel against dante as Vergil doesn't seem to have those) is that both songs ("The Duel" & "Silver Bullet") appear to be completely dynamic. "The Duel" starts out with a rock-like instrumental with distorted guitars, there's also bits of a synthetizer playing reminiscent of "Vergil 1" from DMC3, it starts out as Dante's song with bits of Vergil's leitmotifs. Then when Vergil busts out his shiny new Sin Devil Trigger, the track does a 180 and shifts over to an orchestral composition and backup guitars. The song inverts itself, mainly having Vergil's leitmotif with elements of Dante's. Then (Probably when Vergil's SDT runs out) the song shifts to a neutral but unstable mix. A choir singing Dante's and Vergil's names can also be heard until the end of the battle when the song branches over to the cutscene version. "Silver bullet" is much more obvious and involve the player much more. The song starts out as a violin piece but when either Vergil's health drops to around 20/33% Idk or Nero activates his Devil trigger the song transitions to an instrumental boss remix of Nero's standard battle theme. Then the player can switch over the remix to a vocal variant if a Nero in DT grabs a staggered vergil in SDT then presses the grab button again when Vergil tries to summon a doppleganger when nero tries to grab him. Nero will grab both Vergil and the clone and slam their heads together then immediately afterwards the track will shift to vocals.

Way too late on this one but when vergil says "still hurt from you fight with nero" I think he means when dante got slapped by nero

I feel like the Buster attack during Artemis's dive might be a reference to the DMC4 Echidna fight with Nero. If you grab her when she's on the ground and summoning those vine tentacles, Nero stabs her with Red Queen and revs it, and as he did to Artemis

while i was grinding red orbs for ex taunt on mission 13 (check out Gamer Guru for strategy) i played long enough for the announcer to tell me to take a break, from there all the enemies despawned and i had to finish the mission edit: forgot to mention i was on ps4

If you kill less demons or don't hit nor kill demons at all, you will also received a dialogue from Vergil at the killing demon competition. He will say: I can't lose, not again... follow up by "I still have time! AGAIN!" I can't find it in YT but I encountered it one time.

Someone posted that there's actually a difference between Vergil stabbing Dante and Nero For Dante, he has more menacing look, like reminiscing the old days But for Nero, he's quite reluctant on doing that, could be a mix of exhaust from fighting Dante, but I'm inclined to believe that it's Vergil refusal to fight his own kin

dmc5 was my first dmc game. and as much as I love dante, I just resonated with nero a lot more and honestly prefer his gameplay sometimes. He's been able to carve out a third spot for a dmc main stay which is awesome when compared to vergil and dante.

For a game which is more gameplay focused and not narrative focused, I'm surprised it has all this small tiny details that you dont easily notice

Apparently the english line is a mistranslation of the Japanese line. I've seen someone mention that in Japanese Vergil says "What does 'my son' have to do with THIS?" Because he doesn't believe Dante that Nero is his child, and he is only focused on fighting Dante, not thinking about someone he has never formally met and has no reason to care about. In that regard it makes sense. Why WOULD Vergil care about Nero if he never met him and didn't know he was his son?

If they ever did a Dmc 6 all i want is to playbas young Vergil fighting off the demons invading the house, thinking his mother abandoned him. Also, he's a playable character at the end of the game with his own voicelines.

About the last one (Playing with real players). I think Capcom wanted to add coop, but did it only with mission 7 and mission 13. But in some mission you can interact with others, like at Mission 16 where Nero (On Mission 15 in the final minions stage before Boss) can use Ragtime, that can help Dante killing minions before facing winter stage.

Vergil is being sarcastic about the "fight with Nero thing" because Nero just hit dante in the face and send him to sleep after stopping their sibling fight

The way I see it is, Dante and Vergil are both manchildren. They had arrested developments from trauma. Despite being much older than Nero, this comes out. Now, Nero has also had massive amounts of trauma, but the difference is, he HAD people. He had Kyrie and Credo, friends and family. Despite being kind of a rude boy, he GREW UP, and is an adult. Dante and Vergil are not used to this. This is also the first time they've ever had anyone in their family tell them to calm down and stop trying to kill each other. V tells Vergil's perspective on this to Nero earlier when Dante is fighting Urizen. And Nero has the adult reaction: "That's IT? That's dumb! They don't have to kill each other what the hell?" He has a similar reaction to their deathmatch. Really, all things considered, and as much as we'd all love DMC 6, this is the perfect ending. It ties up many loose ends (Mundus notwithstanding) and Vergil actually seems to like his kid.

8:37 Dante's probably enjoying his last moments on the surface, because he knows what he needs to do next after the fight. Based on DMC 1 dialogue, he says that the sky is fair and that it will always be up everyone's heads, however he's just seizing the moment to see the sky for one last time before he goes to the underworld for a very long time.
